Frequently Asked Questions About the Coffee Subscription
How can I change the delivery date for my subscription?
You can easily let us know via email if you'd like to change your delivery schedule, and we'll be happy to adjust it for you.
Can I cancel the discount subscription?
No, the Advantage Subscription cannot be canceled and runs for at least 12 months. If your needs change or you'd like to switch your subscription, please feel free to contact us.
How fresh is the coffee when it's delivered?
We always use freshly roasted coffee for our subscription deliveries. It's best to let it sit for 5–10 days so the aroma can fully develop.
Where can I find the roast date?
The roasting date is the best-by date minus 12 months. You can find the best-by date on the packaging and subtract 12 months from it to determine the roasting date.
What kinds of dishes are these four varieties best suited for?
Mankira and Wodiyo are particularly well-suited for portafilter machines, fully automatic machines, or a moka pot. We recommend Yeyibito more for drip coffee or a French press, though as a mild roast, it’s also suitable for fully automatic machines or portafilter machines. Goba Gessa is perfect for short espressos or ristrettos prepared in a portafilter.
How should I store coffee to preserve its aroma?
Store the coffee in a cool, dry place away from light. After opening, seal it tightly (e.g., with a clip) and use it within 4–6 weeks to enjoy its full flavor.
